- Joshi’s Centre was started in the year 2015 as a shared OPD facility. We started our OPD Consultations, Andrology laboratory and Uroflowmetry facility was started o 29th Jan 2016.
- Our lab is one of the standard andrology lab where all the required tests for sperm parameters are done. We have evolved with newer, better, and reliable techniques in the last 2 years. As of now the analysis done here would at par with any other standard lab in the world.
- We at Joshi’s believe to make it comfortable for the patients to do complete evaluation under one roof. It is for this reason we have started laboratory facilities. We are associated with a very standard laboratory for the blood tests which is NABL and CAD accredited. The laboratory services are available from 9:30am to 8:30pm.
- IUI processing, vibration therapy (patients with difficulty in ejaculation), and cryofreezing of the semen/sperm/testicular tissue were introduced after a few months. IUI processing done at our centre has yielded a success rate of 16 – 18% which is as good as any standard lab.
- We have also started the ultrasound services since October 2017 catering to increasing demand by the patients. We are showing the relevant scan findings to the patients during the test and discussing the clinical implications.
- The presence of the clinical consultant along with the radiologist gives the best correlation of the clinico-Radiological findings which is of great help in the patient management.
- We began non-surgical therapy with imported state of the art technology using low intensity shock wave therapy for the treatment of ED. This offers a very convienient and economical modality of treatment on OPD basis with no reported side effects.
