OVERVIEW

 

Joshi's Andrology and Urology Centre is a state-of-the-art, standalone facility located in Sahakaranagar. It offers comprehensive andrology services, making nearly all diagnostic and therapeutic modalities accessible under one roof at affordable costs. The hospital is NABH-certified, ensuring high-quality patient care.

 

FACILITY & INFRASTRUCTURE

The facility spans 6,000 square feet across two floors. The first floor is dedicated to outpatient services, featuring two consultation rooms, a blood and semen lab, a procedure room, a private sample collection room, and a digitalized medical records department. The centre is highly reputed for semen analysis, following WHO's 6th edition manual, and houses a skilled andrology lab team, including a senior technician and a junior embryologist. It also offers sperm cryofreezing and IUI processing. The in-house blood lab, equipped with a hormone analyzer, enables same-day reporting. Ultrasound services are available with quick diagnostics.

 

The second floor comprises two private AC rooms, a day care ward, a four-bed recovery room with ventilator, defibrillators, and a crash cart. The surgical facilities include two operating rooms, one for major procedures and one for minor surgeries, both equipped with laminar air flow and AHU systems. The hospital is also preparing to launch an IVF lab, having already obtained the level 2 ART license.

 

SERVICES AND SPECIALITIES

Joshi’s Centre offers a wide range of surgeries for fertility and sexual dysfunction. Fertility surgeries include advanced sperm retrieval techniques (PESA, TESA, MESA and microdissection testicular sperm extraction. Microsurgical procedures like varicocele ligation with micro Doppler and Vaso-epididymal anastomosis are performed routinely.

Sexual dysfunction is treated comprehensively – starting from detailed evaluation medical management, Intracavernosal injections, vacuum erection devices and surgeries like penile prosthesis. The centre also offers therapies like EDSWT. Surgeries for penile curvature, peyronies disease, penile lengthening, girth enhancement and other reconstructive procedures are done routinely.

The nursing staff is well-trained and adequate ensuring good care for the patients.

 

LICENCES

The hospital holds various licenses, including KPME, PCPNDT, Biomedical Waste disposal, ART Level 2, and pollution control certification. Most major insurance providers are empanelled, making the services more accessible to patients.

 

COLLABORATIONS

Joshi’s Centre collaborates with Aster CMI hospital for ICU, ambulance, and blood bank services, and with Cloud nine Fertility Hospitals for IVF/ICSI and FET.

The OPD sees 300-400 patients monthly, and about 15 surgeries are performed per month. This clinical volume is sufficient for the proper training of fellowship students. The centre also has a conference room and library with extensive study materials, including textbooks and access to medical journals.
